The 1920 Richard Arnold building remained a prominent structure within the Thomas Square Streetcar Historic District. Savannah College of Art and Design purchased the building to return it to its original use and to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification as a sustainable green building. The meticulous restoration provided 32 classrooms, a studio, faculty offices and a 400-seat performance auditorium, including preservation of painted proscenium murals which were part of the WPA Murals Program.
The firm participates in a variety of project types. Projects include secondary and university educational design for both private and public institutions, churches and other religious support structures, museums, libraries and healthcare facilities.
