Private Residence: Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina
Kimble: Located in Palmetto Bluff, the main house, guest house, and garage are all nestled underneath the South Carolina trees and overlook the May River. The main house is 4,600 square feet with 1,100 square feet of porches. It has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closets. There are two guest bedrooms on the second floor with their own bathrooms and plenty of charming nooks that are framed by the slope of the roof line. There is also a large family room on the second floor with built in bunk beds for additional sleeping room. The kitchen, great room, study, butler’s pantry, mud room and laundry room are all located on the first floor and were meticulously designed to flow gracefully together. The home’s exterior boasts a bright, cheery, traditional design that is also seen used on the garage and the guest cottage and rooted in low country architecture. The main home was positioned on the site and designed with more architectural details in order to create a hierarchy of the three structures.
